Job Role: Junior Software Test Engineer
As a Junior Software Test Engineer, you’ll be involved in ensuring top-notch quality for software applications across web, mobile, and backend platforms. Your responsibilities will include:
- Defining test strategies and implementing robust QA processes.
- Actively collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing hands-on.
- Developing complex test cases and suites using object-oriented methodologies.
- Executing test plans on different platforms to enhance product reliability and coverage.
- Automating tests for backend systems and RESTful API interfaces.
- Documenting processes related to CI/CD, test execution, and process improvements.
- Building frameworks to test and validate real-time data pipelines and stream processing systems.
- Identifying and reporting application risks and bugs proactively.
- Working closely with developers and QA teams to automate suitable test cases.
- Designing and implementing integration, regression, and performance tests.
- Interpreting product requirements and translating them into effective test plans.
- Prior knowledge or experience in Web/UI testing is highly desirable.
