Role Summary
Verizon is on the lookout for a skilled Full Stack Engineer who thrives in both front-end and back-end environments. You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering scalable, secure applications, leveraging modern frameworks and cloud infrastructure like React, Spring Boot, AWS, and Azure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support full-stack applications using React on the front end and Spring Boot on the back end.
- Design and manage database structures using SQL or NoSQL systems such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Collaborate with product teams to define requirements and deliver innovative features.
- Write clean, modular, testable code following industry best practices.
- Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Use AWS or Azure services to build cloud-native solutions with strong security and scalability.
- Stay current with tech trends to keep solutions modern and effective.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, with at least 1 year of hands-on experience.
- Proficiency in React.js including Hooks, Context API, and Redux.
- Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive UI design.
- Experience in developing REST APIs using Spring Boot and working within microservices architecture.
- Practical experience with SQL/NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and related services.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
