Role Overview:
As a Client Data Associate I in the Operations team, you will play a key role in enhancing the accuracy and reliability of client data, specifically focusing on KYC (Know Your Customer) documentation and verification. You’ll support the onboarding process, ensure data completeness, and help streamline workflows. Strong organizational and digital skills will be essential in handling multiple tasks efficiently and leveraging tech platforms to optimize client experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day team activities, including coaching, guidance, and performance evaluation
- Track team member performance to identify growth and training needs
- Resolve service-related issues raised by internal or external stakeholders
- Operate independently with minimal supervision or instruction
- Make data-driven decisions with sound judgment
- Promote team efficiency through effective communication and leadership practices
- Allocate and organize workloads to maintain productivity
- Assist in the client onboarding process, including meeting AML/KYC compliance standards
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven ability to manage, lead, and motivate teams
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and interim projects
- Basic understanding of banking and financial products
- Strong problem-solving and prioritization capabilities
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Comfortable working in dynamic, ambiguous environments
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in AML, KYC, Compliance, Fraud, or Operational Risk domains
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with mainframe or PC-based systems
- Prior experience in managing high-performing teams is a plus
