Role & Responsibilities
As an Associate Software Engineer at ABB, you’ll play a key role in advancing the company’s strategic goals. You’ll use your technical knowledge to help address complex problems while working closely with the team. This is a #L1-Onsite role within ABB’s IS Services Business – IS Technology & Platforms Division based in Bangalore.
Key Duties Include:
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based applications and platforms
- Help with managing and monitoring cloud infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud system issues
- Support development of automation tools for cloud services
- Aid in data migration to cloud environments
- Carry out performance testing of cloud systems
- Document processes and system details for future use
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants should meet the following criteria to be considered:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or a closely related field
- Genuine interest in cloud computing and modern IT infrastructure
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Completed a technical project as part of the academic curriculum
- Participation in at least one Hackathon event is advantageous
