Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated Associate Engineer to support our Engineering Services team. This role involves collaborating with our Cloud Development, Product Management, and Customer Support teams to troubleshoot and resolve software and device issues. The ideal candidate should have strong debugging skills and a basic understanding of software development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis for critical issues.
- Lead bridge calls for high-priority incidents and drive resolution across teams.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
- Respond to service requests from internal teams, meeting strict SLAs.
- Provide production support for multiple cloud-based software platforms.
- Manage firmware upgrades in the field using scalable infrastructure.
Skills & Qualifications:
- B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or a related field from a top-tier engineering institute.
- 0–2 years of experience in a product-based tech company.
- Proficient in Linux/Unix systems and scripting languages (Shell, Ruby, Python).
- Hands-on experience with SQL/PLSQL databases (MySQL, Oracle, etc.).
- Familiarity with data analytics tools like Incorta or Quicksight.
- Understanding of AWS cloud services and general cloud architecture.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Ruby on Rails.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and tools like Git, Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Creative problem-solving mindset with a strong drive to meet deadlines and resolve conflicts.
