As an Apprentice – Data Ops Engineer, you’ll join our dynamic Data Engineering team, helping process and analyze healthcare data to support better population health and lower healthcare costs. This role is ideal for enthusiastic individuals eager to build a career in data engineering while making a real-world impact in a rapidly evolving tech-driven healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Data Services team to transform and manage healthcare data efficiently.
- Assist in developing analytical reports for U.S.-based healthcare clients.
- Help design and implement data interfaces connecting the Data Activation Platform with third-party systems.
- Document and maintain best practices and integration standards based on industry guidelines.
- Monitor and optimize data interface setups for consistent performance in live environments.
- Learn core data warehousing principles and support database tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or a related field (from 2019 to 2024 batches).
- Open to a 1-year apprenticeship commitment.
- Basic understanding of data modeling principles.
- Familiar with SQL and capable of writing basic queries.
- Interest in exploring Python libraries like NumPy, SciPy, and Scikit-learn.
- Curiosity to work with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Sisense.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal.
