Eligibility Criteria
Network Engineer – Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- Experience: Hands-on experience at L2 level in network operations and engineering.
Preferred Certifications (Any of the following):
- CCNA / CCNP
- Fortinet NSE 4 or higher
- PCNSA / PCNSE

- Strong understanding of firewalls, wireless technologies, and routing/switching systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Key Responsibilities
- Firewall Management
- Configure and maintain firewalls such as Palo Alto, Checkpoint, and FortiGate.
- Handle security policy implementation, NAT rules, and VPN setups (IPSec/SSL).
- Troubleshoot firewall issues including blocked traffic, session errors, and policy breaches.
- Conduct periodic security audits and maintain SSL decryption policies.
- Wireless Network Setup
- Deploy and manage Meraki and Catalyst APs with multiple SSIDs and VLANs.
- Troubleshoot wireless connectivity issues including interference or signal loss.
- Optimize RF settings and manage coverage areas effectively.
- Utilize Meraki Dashboard for client analysis and packet capture.
- Routing & Switching
- Manage routers and switches from Cisco, Aruba, HPE, Juniper, Nexus, and Arista.
- Configure VLANs, STP, trunk links, and EtherChannel.
- Resolve Layer 2/3 network issues, such as routing inconsistencies or loopbacks.
- Manage dynamic routing protocols like OSPF and EIGRP.
- Network Performance Monitoring
- Monitor network traffic using specialized tools to identify and address bottlenecks.
- Review logs and metrics to diagnose and resolve performance issues.
- Ensure high availability and uptime across network systems.
- Security & Compliance
- Enforce security practices in line with internal and external compliance standards.
- Participate in audits and ensure all controls are effectively implemented.
- Assist in developing disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain thorough network documentation including topologies, configurations, and issue logs.
- Generate comprehensive reports on incidents, changes, and performance for internal stakeholders.
