About the Opportunity

Thomson Reuters is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join its dynamic development team. This role offers the chance to design and build scalable software solutions while contributing to projects that make a global impact. You’ll also support solution deployment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and enhance user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance to internal teams and support operations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure seamless support.
  • Implement coding solutions under the mentorship of senior engineers, following established standards.
  • Translate basic business requirements into functional code.
  • Identify and resolve issues highlighted by code quality tools.
  • Regularly update team members on progress through internal meetings.

Skills & Experience We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience in web accessibility standards (W3C).
  • Proficiency in C#, Python, object-oriented programming, and XSLT.
  • Experience working with web services, JavaScript, and modern UI technologies.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft .NET development and AWS architecture.
  • Exposure to AI tools and concepts, including generative AI, AI architecture, and conversational AI.
  • Strong analytical skills with a collaborative and problem-solving mindset.
