Software Developer Intern – Role Details

Your Role and Responsibilities
- Hands-on coding to develop next-generation data processing platforms
- Supporting co-creators and contributors using the platform
- Working across the entire application development lifecycle – design, coding, CI/CD pipelines, and unit testing
- Self-learning and adopting new technologies as required
- Applying strong object-oriented design principles
- Working with multiple programming languages (at least one statically typed and one dynamically typed, such as Java and Python)
- Writing and maintaining xUnit test cases using mocks, stubs, and fakes
- Following strict coding standards and documenting code appropriately
- Applying data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis concepts

- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, IDL (Protobuf/Thrift) is a plus
