About Cognizant GenC Program
The GenC (Generation Cognizant) role focuses on building strong engineering fundamentals, business understanding, and problem-solving capabilities in fresh graduates. GenC associates work across development, testing, deployment, and support projects.
GenC – Job Description
As a GenC Engineer, you will:
Understand business requirements and create technical documents
Develop, maintain, test, and debug code
Build test scenarios and analyze data requirements
Work in Agile development environments
Create low-level design components
Prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines
Participate in technical sessions and team discussions
Continuously learn and upskill in new technologies
Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork abilities
Eligibility Criteria
Students must meet the following:
2025 batch from B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech
(Excluded branches: Leather Technology, Food Technology, Fashion Technology, etc.)Consistent 60% or above in X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG
No standing arrears at the time of joining
CGPA must convert to percentage as per university norms
Must be willing to work from any Cognizant office, any shift, any technology
Open only for Indian nationals / OCIs currently residing in India
