Responsibilities For Candidates:-
- To be eligible for the Technical Entry Scheme (TES) Course in the Indian Army, candidates are required to have completed 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from recognized education boards. Additionally, candidates should have appeared in the JEE Mains 2023 examination.
- Minimum Age: 16 ½ years
- Maximum Age: 19½ years
- Age limit as on the first day of the month in which the course is due to commence. i.e. the candidate should not be born before 02-07-2004 and not after  01-07-2007 (both days inclusive).

Selection Process For Drive:-
- The shortlisting for the Technical Entry Scheme (TES) Course in the Indian Army will be based on merit. The percentage or marks obtained in the 10+2 examination will be a crucial factor in the selection process. Candidates with higher percentages or marks will have better chances of being shortlisted. (Indian Army Recruitment Drive 2023)
- After the shortlisting process, candidates who are selected for the Technical Entry Scheme (TES) Course in the Indian Army will undergo the SSB (Services Selection Board) interview at one of the designated Selection Centres.
- The SSB interview is a comprehensive assessment that includes various tests such as psychological tests, group tasks, personal interviews, and physical fitness tests.
- The purpose of the SSB interview is to evaluate the candidates’ suitability for a career in the Indian Army.
